On the 8th of April 2021 our class Te Kinga climbed up Mt Te Kinga. We followed the track up to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th checkpoint on the way up we stopped at each checkpoint and had a snack and water. We looked out at the lake at each lookout and when we finally got to the top we sat down and rested for a while. Later on we went back down to the bottom and got our togs and went swimming at the lake for near one hour. Then we made fires and people roasted marshmallows then after we finished the marshmallows, we put some Sedimentary rock on the fires and seen how well they burn after a while then we put out the fires and then we went for another quick swim before we left. When we left we went to the cars packed up and went back to school and played for a bit then went home.

Why mistakes are important for learning.
When you make a mistake you learn from your mistake. So if you do something wrong it's called a mistake,
Science
In science we learnt about rocks and the earth like the earths crust and its core.We learnt about what types of rocks there are,we learnt about Sedimentary Metamorphic and Igneous rock. We learnt that igneous rock is from cooled magma, and that sedimentary rock is formed from lots of little minerals over time, and that metamorphic rock is a rock that transforms over time slowly.
What is the value of sport and physical education at School?
The value of sport and physical education at school, is to learn things and have fun and knowing the basic stuff as in throwing a ball properly. To be a good athlete or sports player you need to practice so you can get good at it. Physical Education I personally don't like because I think its boring and I like to use more energy to run around and play games.
